Dreamy loves holidays. I mean really, what is better than spending time with family and friends, eating great food, putting on a new sparkly dress, and festively decorating a home? This Thanksgiving as we're reflecting on all the things we're thankful for, we can't help but mention YOU, our loyal readers and customers for all the support, stories and freindship you give us both in our little online world and when you stop by the shop. Here are seven other things that make our lives a little more Dreamy...
1. Our lovely local beach here in Encinitas CA: What would we do without the constantly beautiful weather in our little corner of the world?
2. Our amazing vendors who make the best products in the world: We tell you about them all the time but just once more for the record books: Thank you Delphine, Night Owl Press, Voluspa, Linnea's Lights, Barefoot Dreams, Thymes, Lalicious, Lucia, Roost, Olivina, Chris Bolton, Nashelle, j.Fein Designs, Barbara Wheeler, Mama Mio, Elegant Baby, Kai, Child perfume, Nectar Essences, Bink & Boo, Jonathan Adler, Karen Jean, Bella Muse, Flaunt, Driscoll Designs, Darling Droolers, Petite Pirouette, k.hall designs, Epicuren, Jane, Alice Supply Co., and all the rest of you that slipped my mind. You truly are the best!
3. The local restaurants who always provide something delicious for our lunchbreaks and events, whether it be something sweet from Chuao Chocolate or Cupcake Love, a bottle of wine from 3rd Corner, a tasty sandwich from Bubby's, something savory from Trattoria I Trulli, a healthy treat from the Lotus Cafe, or always yummy pizza from Leucadia Pizzeria. Our bellies would be empty without you!
4. Our friends from the local shops and boutiques in the area, Rustic Rooster, Mog & Rue, Bergamot Spa, Lemongrass Spa, Magical Child, La Dulce Romantique, 42nd & Orange, and Siobhan Gallery.
5. The pooches who stop by the shop for a treat or visit. Have we told you how much we love dogs at here at Dreamy. It all started with our darling Peggy Sue and Jackson, and now we can't get enough of those furry freiends.
6. Flowers! Oh how we love flowers at Dreamy! From Franco's to The Floral Department, to the Floral Lab and beyond. We are blessed with some very talented floral suppliers and designers in our area.
7. Music! Our playlists are endless here at Dreamy, and the sounds range from Feist to Billie Holiday and everyone in between. Music makes the world go round and it makes our days sound so much better.
There is so much more, but we're more interested in you... what are YOU thankful for this holiday season?
Now, I know we've said it before, but we'll say it again....over and over and over... WE LOVE FALL! Still, these Novemeber days can get pretty chilly and with winter approaching, it is only gonna get colder out there. Our favorite way to bundle up against the seasons is to cuddle up with a warm cup of cocoa by the fire, wrapped in a cuddly Barefoot Dreams throw.
